The Beeches Project - Cluny
The brief was to create planting beds and plant a selection of trees.. we spent the first day setting out with the designer Isabel and stuck straight in with the turf lifter, the following days we rotovated the beds, dug the trench for the lovely pleached Malus, yew hedges, yew balls and other native trees like Sorbus and Prunus.

After boarding over the new lawns, we carefully hoisted the yew balls into place, following Isabel’s design with precision. We can confidently say we executed it just right.
The Perfect Line.
Every project starts with an idea, and accurate marking out is essential to bringing that vision to life. We work closely with designer, Isabel, to ensure her creative vision aligns perfectly with our interpretation of her precise drawings.
Marking Out.
Following the designer’s advice and request, we used Gripple to secure the trees instead of traditional stakes and rubber ties. This approach was chosen purely for aesthetic reasons, ensuring an unobstructed view of the pleached Malus rows from the feature windows.
